Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 1926 -2022

Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret at Wisteria Walk, Trent Park

The team and Trustees of the Trent Park Museum Trust are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen, and we express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Royal Family for their loss.

Her Majesty lived a life of dedicated and unwavering service to our Country and to the Commonwealth of Nations, and for her service we owe a debt of gratitude.

Once development is complete and Trent Park House opens to the public, we will pay tribute to Her Majesty who was a frequent visitor to the estate, not only during her Reign but also as a young Princess, visiting with her sister, parents and grandparents as a guest of Sir Philip Sassoon.

As we join the nation and the world in mourning, we remember and celebrate her life.

Long live the King.
